Michael is an award-winning director, photographer and writer, committed to collaboration, authenticity in casting and performance, and to putting the budget on the screen. He is a true "Renaissance Man" whose directing niches include real people, kids, dialogue, lifestyle, tabletop and in-depth interviewing. His experience covers every category of visual storytelling, from still photography and feature films to commercials, radio, corporate web content, and PBS documentaries. Michael is a former commentator and reporter for NPR's ALL THINGS CONSIDERED. He has also been a professional whitewater guide, an AP photojournalist and a Los Angeles-based production designer. He brings unequaled passion and a very unique set of skills to every project.
